Consistent Colour
With no water or chemicals in the printing process the vagaries of the damping
system are eliminated allowing more consistent colour throughout the run.
Better Colour Saturation
Waterless delivers a greater print contrast with the highlights looking brighter
and cleaner and the darkest areas looking deeper. The final image takes on a
quality dimension not possible with conventional litho. Greater control means
higher ink densities can be used giving a much richer result even at the
same screen rulings.
Low Dot Gain
Low dot gain equals more detail. The inherent low dot gain means you can run
higher screen rulings for much better detail. But even at a screen ruling of
175 lines per inch you achieve a better result.
Versatility
Versatility allows for more paper options. Using real ink means being able to print on a wide range of products.
From onion skin to 400gsm board including stock you would normally prefer to keep away from. Combine its environmentally friendly credentials and you could achieve a "greener" product.
High Quality
Enhance the quality of offset printing through the precision and accuracy inherent in digital workflow and thermal imaging.
In addition DI produces generation dots which are extremely sharp.
